Online Webinar: Together for Girls in ICT: Transforming Ideas into Action 7 May | 17:00–18:30 (EEST )

We are pleased to invite you to our second online co-creation webinar, “Together for Girls in ICT: Transforming Ideas into Action”, which will take place on 7 May from 17:00 to 18:30 (EEST ). 

Participants from across Europe joined our previous webinar, “Together for Girls in ICT: Understanding Challenges, Shaping Solutions”, where we explored the key factors influencing girls’ aspirations to pursue studies and careers in ICT and brainstormed policy ideas to support greater gender inclusion in the digital sector. 

In this second webinar, we invite you to take ideation one step further: how can the ideas already shared by the community be transformed into concrete actions in the coming months? 

Our goal is to collectively support the development of a pedagogical framework that will guide a piloting intervention in schools and other educational contexts. At the end of the project, the results of this pilot, along with other outcomes, will contribute to evidence-based policy recommendations. 

The webinar is addressed to researchers, pre-service and in-service educators, career counsellors, parents, ICT professionals, gender equality experts, and policymakers interested in contributing to a more equitable digital future.

The webinar will be conducted in English. 

The webinar is organized within the framework of the pICTureURpath project, which empowers girls and young women to pursue pathways in ICT through research, collaboration, and policy innovation. 

As part of this initiative, you can also join the project’s Community of Practice (CoP), a collaborative space where educators, researchers, professionals, and policymakers exchange knowledge, share experiences, and co-develop solutions to support girls in ICT.
