Interim Meeting News: pICTureURpath Project Update from Groningen
Our pICTureURpath interim meeting in Groningen, the Netherlands (22 -23 April), was all about looking back on the first year of our project, preparing ourselves for the midway point, and looking even further ahead toward the future of our project.
During the meeting, the partners were able to discuss and align their expectations for both the directly upcoming tasks and those further into the project’s lifespan.
It allowed us to work together to solve uncertainties and provide each other with the knowledge required to complete our tasks in the project.
As part of the meeting all partners presented an overview of what they had been working on for the past year and what they are currently working on. This included talks on the project timelines, its dissemination, our community of practice, which can still be joined by those interested, the co-creation workshop that was conducted in March as part of the project, and the upcoming co-creation workshop that happened in May , and the survey report and policy intervention framework.
The survey report and especially the policy intervention framework deliverables were the topic of discussion for a long period of time during the meeting, as they will be completed by the end of June. You can expect to find them on our website at that time.
Thanks to the meeting we were able to look back on the past year and align our expectations for the future. Right now, the partners are hard at work on the opening stages of Work Package 3, which is all about developing trainings and lessons for teachers, students in schools, and for events outside of school. The goal of these trainings is to increase teachers’ gender-awareness and responsiveness and increase students’ interest in the ICTs.
